Extrapolation methods are considered for smooth linear functionals of solutions of pseudodifferential equations on curves. Such equations appear for example in the formulation of the boundary element method applied to plane domains. For smooth functionals, the expansion in the spacing of collocation points is demonstrated to arbitrary order. Richardson type extrapolation methods may therefore be applied. The theoretically predicted convergence orders are also demonstrated numerically on an example.
