Measure-valued almost periodic functions (Q1274003)

Let \({\mathcal M}\) be the set of Borel probability measures on a complete separable metric space \({\mathcal U}\). There is defined the space \(S(\mathbb{R},{\mathcal M})\) of Stepanov almost periodic functions \(\mu\) on \(\mathbb{R}\) with values in \({\mathcal M}\). The main result consists in giving necessary and sufficient conditions in order that a function \(\mu: t\to\mu[\cdot; t]\in{\mathcal M}\) such that \(\mu({\mathcal F};\cdot)\in S\) for all \({\mathcal F}\in C_b({\mathcal U})\) belongs to \(S(\mathbb{R},{\mathcal M})\).
