A method for state-feedback stabilization of discrete-time singular linear systems is proposed. State feedback controllers are designed so that the closed-loop system is regular, causal and stable. Conditions for the existence of a solution to the problem are established in terms of matrix inequalities. An explicit formula for the desired state feedback controllers is derived.
