This paper continues the study of semi-compact spaces, i.e. spaces where every semi-open cover has a finite subcover. Semi-compact spaces are those spaces whose \(\alpha\)-topologies are hereditarily compact. In the first part of this paper additional characterizations of semi-compact spaces are provided and their behaviour under certain generalized continuous functions is investigated. In the second part, semi-closed graphs and extremally disconnected spaces are considered.
