The rank 2 geometries of the simple Suzuki groups \(Sz(q)\) (Q1380834)

The author considers point-line coset geometries for the finite Suzuki groups \(G=Sz(q)\), where the point stabilizer \(G_x\) is maximal in \(G\) and the flag stabilizer \(G_{x,\ell}=G_x\cap G_\ell\) is maximal in \(G_x\) and different from the line stabilizer \(G_\ell\). All such quadruples \((G,G_x, G_\ell, G_{x,\ell})\) are explicitly determined. The special case of \(Sz(8)\) is then considered in some more detail.
