Consider a non-degenerate hypersurface of dimension \(n \geq 2\) in real affine space with unimodular invariant Blaschke structure. Denote the induced connection by \(\nabla\) and the cubic form by \(C.\) It is known that a non-degenerate hypersurface satisfying \(\nabla C = 0\) and \(C \neq 0\) is an improper affine sphere that is representable in terms of a polynomial graph function \(f\) of degree 3 with constant non-zero Hessian determinant (Monge-Ampère equation). (For this result the author gives a reference where one cannot find this result; the result is due to \textit{F. Dillen} and \textit{L. Vrancken} [Lect. Notes Math. 1481, 36--47 (1991; Zbl 0746.53008)]). For dimensions \(n=2,3,4\) this result was already applied for a detailed classification. The author now applies it to the special case of dimension 5; he explicitly determines all polynomials of degree 3 in 5 variables satisfying the Monge-Ampère equation. Reviewer's remark: The author uses a mix of a standard and his individual terminology and notation, but does not define all terms and notations used. Thus sometimes the reader has to find out the meaning by himself.
