Homological conjectures are interesting problems in commutative algebra and some of them are solved in equi-characteristic case. In the present paper, the author studies homological conjectures in mixed-characteristic case. Let \((V, \pi)\) be a discrete valuation ring of characteristic~\(0\) and assume that the residue field \(V/\pi V\) is of positive characteristic~\(p\). An essentially of finite type \(V\)-algebra \((V[x_1, \dots, x_n]/I)_{\mathfrak m}\), where \(\mathfrak m\) is a maximal ideal of \(V[x_1, \dots, x_n]\), is said to be of \(V\)-complexity~\(c\) if \(n \leq c\) and \(I\) is generated by polynomials of degree at most~\(c\). Similarly, the author defines the \(V\)-complexity of \(R\)-modules and others. He shows that there is an integer~\(c'\) depending only on~\(c\) such that five homological conjectures (the direct summand conjecture, the monomial conjecture and others) hold for a \(V\)-algebra~\(R\) of \(V\)-characteristic~\(c\) if \(p > c'\). Roughly speaking, these conjectures hold if the characteristic of the residue field is large.
