Some qualitative features of the isosceles trapezoidal four-body problem (Q2301724)

In this paper, a new survey of known qualitative features of the Isosceles Trapezoidal Four-Body Problem (IT4BP), that has three degrees of freedom, is presented by the authors. They, also, mention to its two subsystems with two degrees of freedom: the Collinear Symmetric Four-Body Problem (CS4BP) and the Rectangular Four-Body Problem (R4BP), and the purpose of the paper is to have a better picture on the dynamical behavior from its subsystems of (IT4BP), where two mass points (binaries) have equal masses μ and the remaining two (binaries) have masses equal to m. The progress of a complete understanding of IT4BP remains far from its achievement and a better comprehension of the features of its subsystems R4BP and CS4BP are needed.
