The multilinear fractional integral operator \(T_{\gamma,\mu}\) on quasi-metric measure spaces with non-doubling measure \(\mu\) is defined by \[ T_{\gamma,\mu}\vec{f}(x)=\int_{X^m}\frac{f_1(y_)\cdots f_m(y_m)}{(d(x,y_1)+\cdots+d(x,y_m))^{m-\gamma}}d\mu(\vec{y}_m)\ \ (x\in X). \] \textit{V. Kokilashvili} and \textit{A. Meskhi} [Fract. Calc. Appl. Anal. 4, No. 1, 1--24 (2001; Zbl 1065.47503)] (cf. [\textit{V. Kokilashvili}, Teubner-Texte Math. 119, 86--103 (1990; Zbl 0746.47027)]) already gave a necessary and sufficient condition with respect to the non-doubling measure \(\mu\) on quasi-metric measure spaces with a non-doubling measure \(\mu\) for the boundedness of the fractional integral operator \(J_{\gamma,\mu}\) (in the case of \(m=1\) with respect to \(T_{\gamma,\mu}\)) from \(L^p(X,\mu)\) to \(L^q(X,\mu)\). In this paper, the authors give a necessary and sufficient condition with respect to the non-doubling measure \(\mu\) for the boundedness of \(T_{\gamma,\mu}\) from the product \(L^{p_1}(X,\mu)\times\cdots\times L^{p_m}(X,\mu)\) to \(L^q(X,\mu)\) by using modified Hardy-Littlewood maximal operators \(\tilde{\mathcal{M}}\). For the sake of the result they show the points which are to prove the boundedness of \(\tilde{\mathcal{M}}\) from the product \(L^{p_1}(X,\mu)\times\cdots\times L^{p_m}(X,\mu)\) to \(L^q(X,\mu)\) and the boundedness of \(T_{\gamma,\mu}\) from the product \(L^{p_1}(X,\mu)\times\cdots\times L^{p_m}(X,\mu)\) to \(L^q(X,\mu)\) by the condition of a non-doubling measure \(\mu\). Also they show an appropriate boundedness of \(T_{\gamma,\mu}\) in Morrey spaces defined with respect to \(\mu\).
