This paper is concerning a class of exact solutions \(\mathbf u\) of the steady Navier-Stokes equations, introduced in [\textit{L. Landau}, C. R. (Dokl.) Acad. Sci. URSS, n. Ser. 43, 286--288 (1944; Zbl 0061.43410)], which are invariant under the scaling symmetry \(\lambda\mathbf u(\lambda x)=\mathbf u (x)\). The authors classify all axisymmetric no-swirl solutions with this property, which are smooth on the unit sphere in \(R^3\) minus the two poles. The set of such solutions is identified as a 4-dimensional surface with boundary in a specific function space. For the new ``velocity'' \(U_{\theta}\), introduced in the relation (3), the initial Navier-Stokes equations are reduced to the ODE (4), depending on some constants. The existence of the smooth solutions of (4) is proved, for a specific choice of these constants. The proof is based on some results given in the previous paper [\textit{L. Li} et al., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 227, No. 3, 1091--1163 (2018; Zbl 1384.35064)], where the same kind of solutions is considered, but with only one singularity -- at the south pole -- on the unit sphere in \(R^3\).
