The author considers Ishikawa iterative sequences for the study of Lipschitzian strongly pseudocontractive operators to show that the constructed iterative sequence converges to the unique fixed point of the given Banach space, provided such a fixed point exists. The main result of this paper generalizes known results of Chidume and Zeng [while itself being a special case of Theorem 2.1 of \textit{Z.-Q. Liu, L. Zhang} and \textit{S. M. Kang}, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 31, No. 10, 611--617 (2002; Zbl 1026.47057) -- editor's remark].
