A sufficient condition is provided for the localization of unbounded boundary regimes in the initial-boundary value problem for the nonlinear heat equation with a sink term. So, for the equation \(u_ t=(u^ nu_ x)_ x-u^ \beta\), \(n\geq 0\), \(\beta>n+1\), it is shown that for any infinitely growing boundary regime there exists an effective localization with zero effective depth. The estimates obtained in the paper indicate that the localization is due to two physically opposite factors: energy absorption and diffusion.
