If V is an absolutely convex zero neighborhood in the Hausdorff locally convex space E, we denote, as usual, by \(\tilde E_ V\) the completion of the normed space \(E_ V\) associated to V. It is known that the nuclear spaces E possess bases \({\mathcal U}\) of zero neighborhoods with the following property: Given any infinite dimensional separable Banach space F, then \(\tilde E_ V\) is norm-isomorphic to F for some \(V\in {\mathcal U}.\) In the present paper we bring up this result into the context of \(\lambda\)-nuclearity, \(\lambda\) being a sequence space satisfying standard properties of regularity. Namely, we prove that given such a sequence space \(\lambda\), a Mackey space \(\sigma\) can be found satisfying the following condition: If F is any infinite dimensional Banach space with Schauder basis, for every zero neighborhood U in \(\sigma\) there exists a zero neighborhood \(V\subset U\) in \(\sigma\) such that \({\tilde \sigma}_ V\) is norm isomorphic to F. As a consequence we prove an embedding theorem of \(\lambda\)-nuclear spaces into some product of any given infinite dimensional Banach space with Schauder basis.
