The Sharkovskij's type theorem for almost continuous functions is discussed. A function f: \(X\to Y\), where X, Y are topological spaces, is said to be almost continuous if for any open \(G\subset X\times Y\) containing the graph of f there exists a continuous function g: \(X\to Y\) such that the graph of g is contained in G. The paper shows that the Sharkovskij's theorem is not true in this case. Namely, there exists an almost continuous function f: \(R\to R\) which has a point of prime period 3 but for each x, either \(x=f(x)\), f is of prime period 3 at x, or \(x\neq f^ n(x)\) for all \(n>1\). Moreover, an example of an almost continuous function f is given, such that \(f^ 2\) is not almost continuous.
