    Für den Fall, daß \(F(x)\) an den \(n + 1\) Stellen \(a_r\) nebst ihren \(m_r - 1\) ersten Ableitungen vorgeschriebene Werte \(f(a_r), f'(a_r),\ldots, f^{(m_r-1)}(a_r)\) haben soll, gibt Verf. die Interpolationsformel \[ F(x) = \sum_{r=0}^n Q_r(x)\sum_{\mu=0}^{m_r-1} \dfrac{(x-a_r)^\mu}{\mu!} D_{a_r}^\mu\dfrac{f(a_r)}{Q_r(a_r)} + Q(x)\dfrac{f^k(\xi)}{k!}, \] wo \quad \(Q(x) = (x - a_0)^{m_0}(x-a_1)^{m_1} \ldots (x-a_n)^{m_n}\), \quad \(Q_r(x) = \dfrac{Q(x)}{(x-a_r)^{m_r}}\) \[ k=\sum_{r=0}^n m_r \quad \text{und} \quad a_0 \leqq \xi \leqq a_n \quad \text{ist.} \] Weiter zeigt Verf., daß die entsprechenden, früher von Zemplen und von \textit{Montel} aufgestellten Formeln falsch sein müssen.
