The authors investigate a nonconforming finite element for a convection-diffusion equation on polygonal domains in the plane. A domain decomposition method with Schwarz iterations is used, with Robin boundary conditions on interior interfaces. The analysis is a modification of arguments used by \textit{J. Douglas jun., J. E. Santos, D. Sheen}, and \textit{X. Ye} [M2AN, Math. Model. Numer. Anal. 33, No. 4, 747-770 (1999; Zbl 0941.65115)] for Dirichlet problems.
