Perturbation theory for the generalized Bott-Duffin inverse and its applications (Q1855691)

The constrained inverse of a square matrix was introduced by \textit{R. Bott} and \textit{R. J. Duffin} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 74, 99-109 (1953; Zbl 0050.25104)]. At present, few research results of the perturbation analysis for the generalized Bott-Duffin inverse (GBD) are known. In this paper, the authors first discuss the perturbation of GBD and study its condition number and then present the error bound for the solution of linear constrained system by means of GBD.
