The author investigates the rate of equiconvergence of partial sums of the spectral expansion of a function in terms of the root vectors of a differential operator in \([L_p(0,1)]^m\) and partial sums of its Fourier series. Estimates are given in terms of the \(L_s(K)\) norm, where \(s\in [0,\infty]\) and \(K\) is any compact subset of \((0,1)\).
