The authors consider a model of the scattering in random media based on the nonstationary Schrödinger equation. Using heuristic arguments of statistical physics they reduce the problem to a deterministic one. A numerical algorithm to recover the unknown coefficient and the corresponding convergence theorem are given in detail.
