    In this paper the author obtains weighted \(L^q\)-estimates of the gradients of weak solutions for the general elliptic \(p(x)\)-Laplace equation \[ \operatorname{div}\, (a(x,\nabla u))= \operatorname{div}\,\left(|f|^{p(x)-2}f\right) \] under some assumptions on \(a,p\), and \(f\). It is shown that \(|f|^{p(x)} \in L^q_{w,\mathrm{loc}}\) implies \(|\nabla u|^{p(x)} \in L^q_{w,\mathrm{loc}}\) for any \(q>1\).
