Reconstruction of extremal perturbations in parabolic equations (Q1974751)

The reconstruction of extremal perturbations that act on a parabolic system and are compatible with the available observation results is analyzed. This problem arises in the theory of inverse problems for distributed systems. Two algorithms for reconstructing perturbations on the basis of the imprecise measurement of certain phase trajectory characteristics of a system are proposed in this paper. Algorithms that are stable with respect to the information noise are demonstrated.
