The authors study oscillatory travelling waves for a population diffusion model with two age classes and nonlocality induced by maturation delay. Their work is concerned with the impacts of diffusion rates \(D_{l}\) and \(D_{m}\) on the behavior of the wave solutions. Minimal speed of the travelling wave solutions is obtained for the case that \(D_{l}=D_{m}\). Impact of the diffusion rates and the maturation delay on the behavior of solutions are investigated. Numerical verification of the main results are provided. In addition, the implication of the oscillatory waves are discussed in the context of ecology.
