The local strong well-posedness is proved for the following stochastic Navier-Stokes type equation on the 3D torus \(\mathbb T^3\) with small initial value \(u_0\in L^p\) for \(p>5\): \[d u_t= \Delta u_t-\varphi(\|u_t\|_{L^p})^2\mathcal P \{u_t\cdot\nabla\}u_t d t +\varphi(\|u_t\|_{L^p})^2\sigma(u_t)d W_t,\ \ \nabla\cdot u_t=0,\] where \(\varphi\) is a Lipschitz continuous function on \([0,\infty)\), \(\mathcal P\) is the Leray projection, and \(\sigma(u_t) d W_t\) is a suitable noise which may be degenerate.
