    The author investigate the reaction-diffusion system \[ \begin{cases} u_t=d\Delta u+\frac{1}{u^p v^q}&\quad x\in \Omega,\; t>0,\\ v_t=D\Delta u+\frac{1}{u^r v^s}&\quad x\in \Omega,\; t>0, \end{cases} \] subject to zero Dirichlet boundary conditions on \(\partial\Omega\times (0, \infty)\), where \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 1\). The exponents satisfy \(p,s\geq 0\) and \(q,r>0\). Under some assumptions on \(p,q,r,s\) it is shown that the system admits a uniformly bounded weak and classical solution.
