Supersoluble Lie algebras (Q2266059)

This paper investigates supersolvable Lie algebras which are not necessarily finite dimensional. The paper demonstrates connections between hypercentral and supersolvable Lie algebras, generalizes properties of hypercentral Lie algebras to those of supersolvable Lie algebras, characterizes supersolvable Lie algebras by the weak idealizer condition and investigates locally supersolvable Lie algebras. There is the usual connection between the present investigations and similar ones in the theory of groups. At times the results in the two theories are the same but not always.
