\textit{R. A. Horn} and \textit{R. Mathias} [Linear Algebra Appl. 142, 63--82 (1990; Zbl 0714.15012)] proved the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality for unitarily invariant norms. \textit{R. A. Horn} and \textit{X.-Z. Zhan} [Linear Algebra Appl. 291, No. 1--3, 103--113 (1999; Zbl 0932.15015)] extended the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality. \textit{K. Dykema} and \textit{A. Skripka} [Stud. Math. 228, No. 1, 47--54 (2015; Zbl 1359.46051)] proved a variant of the Hölder inequality with a constant factor \(4\) for \(p\)-th roots of symmetric operator spaces. In this paper, the authors use the uniform Hardy-Littlewood majorization to generalize Hölder-type inequalities for measurable operators associated with a semi-finite von Neumann algebra and for the symmetric Banach space norm.
