The authors introduce and illustrate the so-called triple rotation method for constructing rotation-invariant triangular norms (briefly, t-norms). Specifically, given an involutive negator \(N\) and a left-continuous t-norm \(T\) that either has no zero divisors or is rotation-invariant, a method is given for building a rotation-invariant t-norm from a rescaled version of \(T\) and three rescaled and transformed rotations of \(T\). These t-norms are of great interest to people working on involutive monoidal t-norm based logic and fuzzy type theory.
