Let \(M\) be a smooth \(n\)-dimensional hypersurface \(M\) in the Euclidean space \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) which is locally represented by the graph of a smooth function \(u\). If \(\lambda_1,\dots, \lambda_n\) denote the principal curvatures of \(M\), the \(k\)\,th mean curvature is defined as \(H_k=\sum_{1\leq i_1<\dots<i_k\leq n}\lambda_{i_1}\cdots \lambda_{i_k}\), and \(M\) is said to be \(k\)-admissible if \(H_i>0\) at each point, for \(1\leq i\leq k\). The prescribed \(k\)-th mean curvature problem for Euclidean hypersurfaces leads to \(k\)-admissible solutions. In [J. Reine Angew. Math. 519, 41--57 (2000; Zbl 0959.53031)], the author obtained an interior curvature bound for \(k\)-admissible solutions in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\), in terms of the \(L^p\) norm of the mean curvature for some \(p>{kn}/{2}\). The author derives interior curvature bounds for strictly space-like hypersurfaces in Minkowski space. For the Minkowski space \(\mathbb L^{n+1}=\mathbb R^{n+1}\times \mathbb R\), let \(M\) be its hypersurface which is the graph of a strictly space-like function \(u\) defined over a subdomain of \(\mathbb R^n\). Let \(u\) \(u\in C^4(\overline{B}_{d_0})\) be strictly space-like (\(\sup_{B_{d_0}}| Du|\leq\theta<1\)) \(k\)-admissible solution of \(H_k^{1/k}=g\) in \(B_{d_0}\), where \(B_{d_0}\) denotes an open ball in \(\mathbb R^n\) of radius \(d_0\) centered at the origin, and \(g\) is a function satisfying \(\mu^{-1}\leq g\leq \mu\), \(|\nabla g|\leq \mu\) on a hypersurface \(M\) that is a graph of \(u\). The author proves that for any \(p>k(n-1)/2\) the second fundamental form \(A\) of \(M\) satisfies \(A(0)\leq C\), where \(C\) depends only on \(k\), \(n\), \(p\), \(\mu\), \(d_0\), and on \(\int_MH_1^p\). Examples showing that curvature bounds are not true if \(p\) is not sufficiently large are provided.
