This article provides a construction for discrete constant mean curvature surfaces in space forms. For those who are familiar with the DPW method in its discrete version, particularly in the approach of A. Bobenko, the results will be easy to follow. Using the discrete version of the DPW method (to produce discrete constant mean curvature surfaces) the authors analyze singularities of the parallel constant Gaussian curvature surfaces. The construction methods are clearly presented, and examples chosen are very relevant. The paper is well written and accessible to researchers who work in the field of integrable systems.
