    Let \(\mathbb D\) be the unit disc in the complex plane and let \(\mathbb T\) be the boundary of \(\mathbb D\). Let \(H^{\infty}\) be the class of all analytic functions on \(\mathbb D\). For a function \(K:[0,+\infty)\to[0,+\infty)\), consider the space \(Q_K\) of all analytic functions on \(\mathbb D\) for which \[ \| f\|_{Q_K}^2=\sup_{w\in\mathbb D}\int_{\mathbb D}| f'(z)| ^2K(g(z,w))\,dA(z)<\infty, \] where \(dA(z)\) is the area measure on \(\mathbb D\) and \(g(z,w)\) is the Green function on \(\mathbb D\) with pole at \(w\in\mathbb D\). The space \(Q_{K,0}\) consists of all functions \(f\in Q_K\) for which \[ \lim_{| w| \to1}\int_{\mathbb D}| f'(z)| ^2K(g(z,w))\,dA(z)=0. \] From now on, it is assumed that the weight function \(K\) always satisfies the following conditions: (a) \(K\) is nondecreasing, (b) \(K\) is twice differentiable on \((0,1)\), (c) \(\int_0^{1/e}K(\log(1/r))r\,dr<\infty\), (d) \(K(t)=K(1)\), \(t\geq1\), and (e) \(K(2t)\approx K(t)\), \(t\geq0\). In addition to these, \(K\) is assumed to satisfy the conditions (1) \(\int_0^1\varphi_K(s)\,\frac{ds}{s}<\infty\) and (2) \(\int_1^{\infty}\varphi_K(s)\,\frac{ds}{s^2}<\infty\), where \(\varphi_K(s)=\sup_{0\leq t\leq1}\frac{K(st)}{K(t)}\), \(0<s<\infty\). The first theorem, generalizing some of the results by \textit{M.\,Essén, H.\,Wulan} and \textit{J.\,Xiao} [J.~Funct.\ Anal.\ 230, No.\,1, 78--115 (2006; Zbl 1089.30049)] from \(Q_p\) to \(Q_K\), shows that the corona theorem holds for the algebra \(Q_K\cap H^{\infty}\) (\(Q_{K,0}\cap H^{\infty}\)) whenever \(K\) satisfies conditions (1) and (2). The second theorem obtained by solving \(\overline\partial\)-equations yields a Fefferman--Stein-type decomposition for functions in \(Q_K(\mathbb T)\) and \(Q_{K,0}(\mathbb T)\) in the following form: Suppose that (1) and (2) hold for \(K\), and let \(f\in L^2(\mathbb T)\). Then (i) \(f\in Q_K(\mathbb T)\) if and only if \(f=u+\tilde v\) where \(u,v\in Q_K(\mathbb T)\cap L^{\infty}(\mathbb T)\). (ii) \(f\in Q_{K,0}(\mathbb T)\) if and only if \(f=u+\tilde v\) where \(u,v\in Q_{K,0}(\mathbb T)\cap C(\mathbb T)\). Here, \(\tilde v\) is the conjugate function of \(v\).
