The neutral difference equation of the form \[ \Delta^{m}(x_n-px_{n-\tau})=q_nx_{n-\sigma} \] is studied, where \(m\geq 2\), \(p\) is a nonnegative number, \(\tau, \sigma\) are nonnegative integers, \(\tau\geq 1\) and \(\{q_n\}\) is a sequence of real numbers such that \(q_n\geq 0\) for all \(n\geq 1\) and not identically zero. The existence of a positive unbounded solution is established. When \(m\) is even and \(0<p\leq 1\), several sufficient conditions for all bounded solutions to be oscillatory are also obtained.
