For a rational function \(R\) with a repelling fixed point at \(0\), there exists a meromorphic function \(f\) that linearizes this fixed point near \(0\), i.e., \(f(sz)=R(f(z))\) with \(s=R'(0)\). The paper studies the function \(f\) from the point of view of value distribution theory: an s-Julia direction of \(f\) is a radial line so that \(f\) assumes every complex value in every sector neighborhood of this radial line (with possible Picard exceptions). An sd-Borel direction of divergence type is a radial line so that \(f\) assumes every value (with possible Picard exceptions) with a certain frequency. The main result of the paper is that every s-Julia direction of \(f\) is an sd-Borel direction.
