On some new integral inequalities for functions in one and two variables (Q2581163)

In this paper there are given integral inequalities for functions of Gronwall-Bellman type and applications to hyperbolic partial delay differential equations. A slight generalization is obtained when a constant \(k\) in an inequality of Pachpatte is replaced by a function \(k(t)\). Other results are obtained by substitution of \(u(t)\) by \((u^p)(t)\) or by considering the integration limits as functions. In the third part, the results are extended to functions of two variables. Finally the results are used to establish the boundedness of the solutions of some retarded differential equations.
