The authors describe new types of jumps in the two-dimensional singularly perturbed Cauchy problem \[ \dot x= A(x,y),\quad \dot y= B(x,y),\quad x(0)= x_0,\quad \mu\dot y(0)= y_0,\tag{\(*\)} \] in the phase domain \(D= \{\beta_1\leq x\leq\beta_2\), \(0< y\leq |y|<\infty\), \(\text{sgn\,}y= \text{const}\}\). The functions \(A(x,y)\) and \(B(x,y)\) are assumed to be smooth with respect to \(x\) and \(y\) everywhere in the domain \(D\) except possibly the half-line \(x=\xi\) on which the function \(B(x,y)\) undergoes a finite discontinuity with a sign change. For singularly perturbed problems \((*)\), the authors establish some sufficient conditions for the existence of a jump in \(D\), a partial jump in \(D\), a partial composite jump in \(D\) and for the existence of a complete composite jump in \(D_c\), respectively.
