The authors consider the coordinate ring \(A(\text{SL}_ q(2))\) of the quantum algebraic group \(\text{SL}_q(2).\) The quantum group is understood as a Hopf algebra with no assumptions on its commutativity or co-commutativity. The authors compute cyclic homology of \(A=A(\text{SL}_ q(2))\). It is proved that \(H^n(A,A)=0\) for \(n\geq 2\) and there are given explicit formulas for \(H^1(A,A)\) etc.
