Oscillation of difference equations with variable coefficients (Q2642793)

The author proves sufficient criteria for the oscillation of the linear difference equation \[ x_{n+1}-x_n+\sum_{i=1}^r p_{in}\,x_{n-k_i} + q_n\,x_{n-m}=0, \] where \(m\in{\mathbb Z}\), \(m\leq0\), and \(k_i\in{\mathbb Z}\), \(k_i\leq-2\), \(i=1,\dots,r\). The method is a kind of Riccati technique, i.e., considerations for the sequence \(z_n:=x_n/x_{n+1}\).
