    The authors consider a system of Volterra equations \((1)\quad \psi (x)+\int^{x}_{0}(\sum^{n}_{j=1}B_ j(x-t)^{j-1}/(j-1)!)\psi (t)dt=f(x)\) where \(\psi =(\psi_ 1,...,\psi_ n)^ t,\quad f=(f_ 1,...,f_ n)^ t,\quad B_ j=(b^ j_{pq}),\quad b^ j_{pj}=b_{pj},b^ j_{pq}=0,\quad q\neq j,\quad 1\leq i,j\leq n,\) f: \([0,\infty)\to {\mathbb{C}}^ n\) is continuous and \(B_ j\), \(1\leq j\leq n\), are arbitrary matrices in \({\mathbb{C}}^{n\times n}\). Using the co-solutions of an algebraic matrix equation and maintaining the dimension of the problem, an explicit finite closed form solution of (1) is given.
