On links with Khovanov homology of small ranks Yi Xie and Boyu Zhang It is well known that Khvonov homology is the invariant of links. The detection properties of Khovanov homology have been studied in tensively in the past decade. This paper classifies all links whose Khovanov homology have ranks no greater than 8, and all three-component links whose Khovanov homology have ranks no greater than 12, where the coefficient ring is Z/2. All the results of link classification obtained in this paper are based on the premise that the results of the following papers are correct. These articles are by \textit{P. B. Kronheimer} and \textit{T. S. Mrowka} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 113, 97--208 (2011; Zbl 1241.57017)], \textit{J. Batson} and \textit{C. Seed} [Duke Math.
