The author works in the spirit of geometric analysis on a generalization of the Weaver theory [\textit{N. Weaver}, J. Funct. Anal. 139, No. 2, 261--300 (1996; Zbl 0864.46037); Lipschitz algebras. Singapore: World Scientific (1999; Zbl 0936.46002); J. Funct. Anal. 178, No. 1, 64--112 (2000; Zbl 0979.46035)]. Section 1 gives an overview of the problems under study. Section 2 contains preliminaries on Lipschitz functions. Section 3 treats derivations on one-dimensional sets in \({\mathbb R}^n\). Section 4 deals with the rigidity of the measures inducing rank 2 modules of derivations. Section 5 gives preliminaries on the Poincaré inequality as well as the demonstration of the 2-dimensional Cheeger conjecture.
