Let \(\Sigma\) be a \(\sigma\)-algebra of subsets of a nonempty set \(\Omega\). Let \(B(\Sigma)\) denote the Banach space of all bounded complex-valued \(\Sigma\)-measurable functions endowed with the uniform norm. \(B(\Sigma)\) with the positive cone \(B(\Sigma)^+ = \{ f\in B(\Sigma) : f(\omega)\geq 0 , \omega \in \Omega\}\) and the valuation \(f\rightarrow |f|\) is a complex vector lattice. If \(B_{\mathbb R}(\Sigma)\) is the Dedekind \(\sigma\)-complete Banach lattice of all bounded real-valued \(\Sigma\)-measurable functions endowed with the order defined by \(u \leq v\) if \(u(\omega) \leq v(\omega)\) for all \(\omega \in \Omega\), then \(B(\Sigma)\) is a complexification of \(B_{\mathbb R}(\Sigma)\). Let \(ca(\Sigma)\) be the Banach lattice of all bounded countably additive complex-valued measures on \(\Omega\). The author studies the locally solid topologies on \(B(\Sigma)\). In particular, it is shown that the Mackey topology \(\tau(B(\Sigma),ca(\Sigma))\) is the finest locally convex solid \(\sigma\)-Lebesgue topology on \(B(\Sigma)\).
