Recall that density in discrete semigroups is based on nets of finite sets. Also recall that Schur's theorem says that whenever \(\mathbb{N}\) is partitioned into finitely many cells, one of them contains \(n\), \(m\) and \(n+m\) for some \(n,m \in \mathbb{N}\). Later \textit{V. Bergelson} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 43, 338--343 (1986; Zbl 0607.10040)] and \textit{N. Hindman} and \textit{D. Strauss} [Semigroup Forum 73, No. 2, 273--300 (2006; Zbl 1111.22004)] continued and generalized this result. In this paper, the authors extend some notions in discrete semigroups and they introduce some notions of density in a locally compact topological group \(G\). Then, they present a version of Schur's theorem in a locally compact topological group.
