Fractals are almost everywhere. Here their mathematical structure is studied. Some applications in economic systems are given. In Chapter 1 some basic definitions of self similar processes are given. In Chapter 2 different definitions for fractal dimension using box counting are contained. In Chapter 3 further types of fractal dimensions are introduced and applied to stock markets. In Chapter 4 the Hausdorff dimension is introduced and calculated for some mathematical examples. This reviewer has some comments: The book lacks introduction and conclusion sections. Applications are few. If another edition is made of this book then the applications of fractals in global economy should be studied. This is motivated by COVID-19. A missing relevant reference is [\textit{Z. Jaksic} et al., ``Fractal properties of financial markets'', Physica A 410, 43 (2014)].
