The author summarizes and extends results about ``small'' quantum structures with small dimensions of the state space. He bears in mind not only Hilbert and orthomodular lattices, but also orthomodular posets and effect algebras. In order to distinguish between the cases when the single state on a quantum structure has only values \(0\) and \(1\), and when it attains also values between \(0\) and \(1\), the author introduces a notion of a functional isomorphism. Separately discussed are structures with an empty state space, structures admitting just one state, structures functionally isomorphic to \(\mathbf 2^2 \) and to \(\mathbf 2^3\) (\textbf{2} stands for the two-element Boolean algebra).
