The paper considers the initial-boundary value problem for the chemotaxis-Navier-Stokes system in a two-dimensional bounded convex domain. It is known that there exists uniquely a global classical solution to this problem under approximate assumptions on given initial data. In this paper, the stability of the solution is studied. And it is shown that the solution stabilizes to the spatially uniform equilibrium \((\overline{n_0},0,0)\) as the time tends to infinity in the sense of \(L^\infty\). Here \(\overline {n_0}:=\frac{1}{|\Omega|} \int_\Omega n(x,0) dx\) with population density \(n(x,t)\).
