Let \(H_p\) denote the set of all polyharmonic mappings \(F\) in \(U=\{z:|z|<1\}\) with series expansion \[ F(z)=\sum^p_{k=1} |z|^{2(k-1)}(h_k(z)+\overline{g_k(z)})=\sum_{k=1}^p |z|^{2(k-1)}\sum_{j=1}^\infty(a_{k,j}z^j+\overline{b_{k,j}z^j}) \] with \(a_{1,1}=1\), \( |b_{1,1}|<1\). Let \(H_p^0\subset H_p\) be the subclass with \(b_{1,1}=0\) and \(a_{k,1}=b_{k,1}=0\) for \(k\in\{2,\dots,p\}\), let \(HS^0_p\) be the class of polyharmonic mappings \(F\) of the form \[ \sum_{k=1}^p\sum_{j=1}^\infty(2(k-1)j)(|a_{k,j}|+|b_{k,j})\leq 2, \] and let \(HC^0_p\subset HS^0_p\) where \(F\in HC^0_p\) is of the form \[ \sum_{k=1}^p\sum_{j=1}^\infty(2(k-1)j^2)(|a_{k,j}|+|b_{k,j})\leq 2. \] \textit{J. Qiao} and \textit{X. Wang} [Acta Math. Sci., Ser. A, Chin. Ed. 32, No. 3, 588--600 (2012; Zbl 1274.30067)] showed that, for \(F\in HS_p^0\), \(F\) is univalent, sense preserving, and starlike in \(U\), and each member of \(HC^0_p\) maps \(U\) onto a convex domain. The authors generalize a result of \textit{P. Duren} [Harmonic mappings in the plane. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2004; Zbl 1055.31001)]: Let \(F\in HC^0_p\), then the range \(F(U)\) contains the full disk \(|w|<1/2\). They also obtain two convolution characterizations concerning polyharmonic mappings and results on radii of starlikeness and convexity for polyharmonic mappings.
