Initial value problems for second order integro-differential equations of the form \[ x''(t)=f(t,x(t),x'(t),Tx(t), Sx(t)) \] with impulses acting in a finite set of points in \([0,1]\) are studied in the paper, \(Tx(t)= \int_0^tk(t,s)x(s)\,ds\), \(Sx(t)= \int_0^1h(t,s)x(s)\,ds\) being Volterra and Fredholm type integral operators. The existence of minimal and maximal solutions form the main result. The method based on monotone iterations is rather technical.
