The author deals with hypersurfaces of the affine space \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) which are simultaneously ruled and described in graph form. Geometrically, ruledness means that the hypersurface is generated by a \(m\)-parametric family of affine subspaces of dimension \(n-m\), where \(1\leq m<n\). The discussion is within the realm of affine differential geometry of Blaschke/Berwald. So the hypersurface has to be non-degenerate in the sense of this theory (equivalent to the non-degeneracy of the Euclidean second fundamental form). Moreover, the author assumes \(n = 2m\). By explicit calculation it is proved that the affine mean curvature \(H\) and the Pick invariant \(J\) both vanish under these circumstances. In a subclass of these hypersurfaces the author also determines all affine hyperspheres, all copies with parallel second affine fundamental tensor, and all semiparallel copies.
