Quasiregular mappings to generalized manifolds (Q2655704)

The authors study quasiregular mappings on generalized manifolds defined on metric measure spaces. Fundamental properties of these mappings such as modulus distortion inequalities are considered. The authors prove a version of the \(K_0\)-inequality as well as generalizations of Poletsky's and Väisälä's classical inequalities which can be applied in this setting. These results and the techniques involved belong to the most important tools used in the Euclidean theory of quasiregular mappings. Further results concerning local inverse mappings and the size of the image of the branch set of quasiregular mappings are also given.
