An algebra \(A\) in which any two elements generate a Lie subalgebra is called a binary-Lie algebra. Linearly independent elements \(a\), \(b\in A\) are zero divisors if \(ab=0\); and zero divisors are said to be strong if \(J(a,b,A)=0\), where \(J(x,y,z)\) is the Jacobian of \(x\), \(y\), and \(z\). Let \(A\) be a binary-Lie algebra, over a field \(\Phi\) of characteristic \(p\neq 2,3\), which has no strong zero divisors. If \(A\) isn't a Lie algebra, then either \(A\) satisfies the identity \(((yx)x)(yx)=0\), or \(A\) is a 7- dimensional central simple Malcev algebra isomorphic to \(C^{(-)}/\Phi\), where \(C\) is a Cayley-Dickson algebra over \(\Phi\).
