The authors work in a program to develop the Hermitean setting of Clifford analysis in a clear and concise manner. They start from the usual orthogonal Clifford analysis and introduce a complex structure \(J \in \text{SO}(2n,\mathbb{R})\). The initial basis then is projected in a natural way onto the Witt basis and this leads to the Hermitean setting. Two Dirac operators are coming up and an \(h\)-monogenic (or holomorphic) function has -- per definition -- to be in the kernel of both these operators. The connection to orthogonal monogenicity is clearly exploited. -- Naturally the procedure is rich of formulas. The paper's continuation promises to be very interesting also.
